Abstract introductions Inactivated influenza vaccine is recommended in any stage of pregnancy, but evidence of safety in early pregnancy is limited, including for vaccines containing A/H1N1pdm2009 (pH1N1) antigen. We sought to determine if receipt of vaccine containing pH1N1 was associated with spontaneous abortion (SAB)

The study says 7.7, for those of you counting at home, that’s not a “hint”, that’s a giant disturbing alarm (which is why the damage control is being rolled out en masse today). Women who had received the two flu shots in successive seasons were almost 8x more likely to have a spontaneous abortion than those who had not — a nearly 700% increase.

Stay tuned for a complete analysis…its worse than it appears!

AARP: Setting Seniors up for Vaccines

Older adults are at increased risk of health complications that can be prevented by vaccines, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Americans over age 60 are often not getting needed immunizations, and that is creating a growing risk to the healthcare system, say federal disease-prevention experts.

About two-thirds of those who are 65 and older have never had the shingles vaccine, and more than 4 in 10 haven’t had a tetanus shot in the past 10 years, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). As for the pneumococcal vaccine, nearly a third of older people haven’t had this immunization.

40% Long Islanders (NY) not sure if vaccines are safe!

New Poll: 40 Percent Of Long Islanders Not Sure If Vaccines Are Safe

The third Truth in Medicine Poll, sponsored by Bethpage Federal Credit Union, surveyed 600 residents of Long Island and New York City about their thoughts on vaccines. While more than 90 percent of parents said they have had their children vaccinated, almost 40 percent are unsure or believe that vaccines can potentially cause autism. In addition, nearly 30 percent of respondents believed that unvaccinated children should be allowed to attend school.

UNICEF vaccinates 355,000 Syrian refugees with Polio vaccine

BOMBSHELL: UNICEF Just Finished Vaccinating 355,000 Children to Halt a Polio Outbreak Caused by Vaccinating Children in the First Place

UNICEF, the World Health Organization (WHO), and partner organizations have been hard at work administering the polio vaccine to over 355,000 young Syrian children. This urgent immunization program has been undertaken in response to an outbreak of “vaccine-derived polio” in parts of Syria wracked by violence. While these healthcare workers certainly demonstrate compassion and bravery, especially considering the environment they are being forced to work in, it defies logic that inflicting more vaccines on Syrian children is the best response to an outbreak that was caused by vaccines in the first place.  READ MORE…

Map of United States Forces deployed in Territories outside the USA

Using data on US military interventions published by the Evergreen State College, in Olympia Washington, indy100 has created this map (below). The data was compiled by Dr Zoltan Grossman, a professor of Geography and Native Studies.

The map documents a partial list of occasions, since 1890, that US forces were used in a territory outside the US.

Caveats

This includes:

  • Deployment of the military to evacuate American citizens,
  • Covert military actions by US intelligence,
  • Providing military support to an internal opposition group,
  • Providing military support in one side of a conflict (e.g. aiding Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War 1988-89),
  • Use of the army in drug enforcement actions (e.g. Raids on the cocaine region in Bolvia in 1986)

It does not include threats of nuclear weapons against a territory, such as during the Berlin Air Lift (1948-49).

It also excludes any time US military personnel were deployed to a foreign country for an exclusively humanitarian purpose – e.g. sending troops to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to provide assistance to refugees fleeing the Rwandan genocide (1996-97).
