   To be honest, I watched this video 3 times. And I would like to say that, though I understand the argument, and where Wanek was going with it, I felt that the arguments and evidence were lacking. In addition, as a high school senior, I was also offended by several of the arguments that paint students (like myself) as idiotic and unable to think for themselves. That doesn’t sit very well with me, because I don’t just sit around intaking useless information without questioning it or the source it’s coming from. Also, in my whole educational experience, not once has an administrator posed a threat (either with violence or some other means) to myself or anyone I know of. Plus, I can’t recall a single moment when I was confused, asked a question, and had the teacher say “I won’t answer that because I want you to be confused.” Finally, I plan on going to college and then working in politics so that I can help people who cannot help themselves, so all this alterior motive stuff and the we go to school to eventually go to work and just become dummies is annoying. All in all, this argument came off as ignorant and totally unrealistic.
