All animals are biologically equipped to assimilate and digest foods they were designed to eat. For example, earthworms are naturally designed to process dirt. The entire GI tract of worms, from the mouth to the other end where waste is excreted, was designed for this purpose.

In a very sad story out of Colorado Springs, CO, a much loved family cat is dying of a type of cancer called vaccine-associated sarcoma (VAS).
The kitty, named Hozart, has a large, open tumor on his back near his tail, which is exactly the spot where three “routine” vaccines were injected years ago.
The vaccinations Hozart received were for distemper, the feline leukemia virus, and rabies. Two of the three, the rabies and feline leukemia (FeLV) vaccines, are most commonly associated with injection site tumors in cats. Read more…
This month’s featured patient is Myra Moonbeam, a darling female Boston terrier who developed a terrible neurologic disease following a vaccination. This month’s real story features Anubis, a gorgeous 12-year old female Husky who, I am thrilled to report, is now breast cancer free!
In spring 2011, we discovered Anubis had mammary lumps. It turned out one was benign, but two were malignant (breast cancer). I needed to remove all the tumors, of course, but that wasn’t the end of it. I also needed to understand the underlying cause of the breast lumps so we could prevent a recurrence and return Anubis’s body to a state of balance. Since breast cancer is linked to estrogen levels, the first thing I did after diagnosing the lumps was measure her estrogen. She was at toxic levels. Read More…
