JAMA Clinical trial: H7N9 Flu vaccine with and without adjuvants:

This picture taken on April 3, 2013 shows a Chinese health worker looking at viles as workers prepare an H7N9 virus detection kit at the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Beijing. A man who died was one of two H7N9 avian influenza infections reported in Zhejiang in eastern China on April 3, the official state news agency said, citing local authorities, bringing the country's total number of cases to nine. Chinese authorities are trying to determine how exactly the new variety of bird flu infected people, but say there is no evidence yet of human-to-human transmission. Effect of Varying Doses of a Monovalent H7N9 Influenza Vaccine With and Without AS03 and MF59 Adjuvants on Immune Response: A Randomized  Read study…

AS03 (for “Adjuvant System 03”) is the trade name for a squalene-based immunologic adjuvant used in various vaccine products by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).

VLA Comment:  Squalene adjuvant is the adjuvant in the Anthrax vaccine that was tested on US soldiers.  The horrible effects are documented in a riveting documentary, DIRECT ORDER by Scott Miller (a must have for your library).

MF59 (squalene based)

MF59 is an immunologic adjuvant that uses squalene. It is Novartis‘ proprietary adjuvant that is added to influenza vaccines to help stimulate the human body’s immune response through production of CD4 memory cells.

MF59 is the first oil-in-water influenza vaccine adjuvant to be commercialized in combination with a seasonal influenza virus vaccine. MF59 is used as an adjuvant in Europe whereas; in the United States Alum (aluminum hydroxide) is used.

CDC statement on narcolepsy following Pandemrix influenza vaccination in Europe

“Pandemrix is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline in Europe and was specifically produced for pandemic 2009 H1N1 influenza. It was not used before 2009, and has not been used since the influenza pandemic season (2009-2010). It contains an oil-in-water emulsion adjuvant called ASO3.”
