Police officers busted down the door of an Arizona home with guns drawn to remove a toddler with a fever

Police officers busted down the door of an Arizona home with guns drawn to remove a sick, unvaccinated toddler whose parents refused to bring him to a hospital

  • Arizona police officers with tactical gear and guns drawn busted down the door of an Arizona couple’s home last month because of a 2-year-old boy with a fever.
  • A doctor had previously told the child’s mother to take the child to the hospital, but the parents refused, saying the child’s temperature had gone down and they feared getting in trouble for not vaccinating the boy, The Arizona Republic reported.
  • The Chandler Police Department released the officers’ bodycam footage on Thursday, which shows officers trying multiple times to knock on the parents’ door and phone them, until eventually breaking down the door.
  • Police said the parents are each charged with one count of child abuse, and the children remain in state custody.

TRUMP support Asset Forfeiture laws (ugh)

While laws differ across the country, most states allow law enforcement to seize an individual’s assets or property on the suspicion they have been involved in criminal activity. Even if a person is found to be innocent, some jurisdictions allow the government to keep their property.

According to the Institute for Justice, a civil liberties law firm, the Department of Justice’s Assets Forfeiture Fund generated $93.7 million in revenue in 1986. By 2014, the annual figure had reached $4.5 billion — a 4,667 percent increase. The practice surged for years under the Obama administration.

Last year, Ohio passed a law that prohibits taking assets valued at less than $15,000 without a criminal conviction. Other states also passed differing degrees of reform, including New Hampshire, Florida, Montana, Nebraska, Minnesota, Maryland and New Mexico.  READ…

CPS: Parents investigated for neglect after letting kids walk home alone

dees_ilustrations_suppressed_girl_dees

Danielle and Alexander Meitiv let their children, 10 and six, walk home alone from a park a mile away from their house. Now, Montgomery County is investigating the couple for child neglect. The parents are responsible and intelligent. Danielle is a climate-science consultant, and Alexander is a physicist at the National Institutes of Health. The police picked up the kids when they had already made it half way home. Then the police called CPS.

The Meitivs say that on Dec. 20, a CPS worker required Alexander to sign a safety plan pledging he would not leave his children unsupervised until the following Monday, when CPS would follow up. At first he refused, saying he needed to talk to a lawyer, his wife said, but changed his mind when he was told his children would be removed if he did not comply.  Read more. Video and story….

POLICING FOR PROFIT: Iowa City Police confiscate couple’s $48,000 without charging the couple for a crime

Kearnice Overton was driving with his four kids on I-80 when Iowa City police pulled him over for speeding. Police brought a K-9 unit and based on the dog giving a “silent indicator on the vehicle,” police searched Overton’s car. They found $48,000.  Iowa, law enforcement can keep 100 percent of the proceeds from forfeited property, creating an immense incentive to police for profit.  Overton denies the money he was carrying was the result of any illegal activity. Instead, he says he had the cash to buy property from his cousin in Illinois, but the sale fell through. “This money was wrongfully seized. I was not arrested, nor were any charges lodged against me in connection with this money. This money was in no way connected to any criminal activity,” Overton stated in a court document. VLA COMMENT:  The Iowa city justice system is corrupt.  I have counted about 10 entities including the University of Iowa that can issue traffic tickets and officially deal with other apparent violations.  Iowa is is a Police state  pretending to be a sophisticated medical and education center.

FOX NEWS: UPDATE on 15 year old locked away for almost a year by DCF.

For years Justina had been diagnosed mitochondrial disease, a relatively newly discovered disease, causing muscle pain and weakness. But her condition was made worse when she caught the flu in February. VLA comment: Mitachondria disorder appears to be an underlying condition in vaccine injury cases. How many vaccines has Justine gotten? Did she get a flu shot…many people come down with the flu after getting the flu shot. Did she get the Gardisal shots? Many kids are being diagnosed as mentally ill but are actually vaccine injured…ADD, ADHD, Bi Polar).

Yet almost immediately after admission, a different set of doctors came in with a different diagnosis, saying Justina had somatoform disorder, a mental problem, not mitochondrial disease. Why are some kids affected more than other? Check this out:What is making out kids psychotic?

When her parents, Lou and Linda, disagreed with the diagnosis and asked to discharge their daughter, security blocked the hospital doors.

Lou even called 911 and Boston Police showed up. But it was too late.

“They came in, and they said we cannot take Justina out of the hospital. They called DCF, and they filed a 51A,” says Linda Pelletier.

The 51A form allowed DCF to get custody of Justina. Read more…

Police Brutality: New Domestic Weapon Blinds Protesters

This peaceful protester was hit in the face, full-force, by a water cannon during the 2010 protest against the Stuttgart 21 rail link. It looks horrendous, he has lost his sight.

The cannon, a custom-built Ziegler Wasserwerfer 9000, was quietly brought in from Northern Ireland ahead of the G8 talks next month. Up to 4,000 officers are being trained to use water cannon, ostensibly so they can work alongside colleagues across the Irish Sea at the talks at the Lough Erne resort at Enniskillen. However, with police and officials close to reaching a deal about the purchase of three cannon for the mainland, the officers’ skills will be invaluable beyond G8.

A fleet of six water cannon was used against stone-throwing mobs during the Ulster Troubles and in the marching season, and the machines are in use on a large scale in Germany, Northern Ireland, Belgium and other parts of Europe.  Read more…

By age 23: US arrests: 49% black males; 44 hispanic & 38% white males

police_deesBy age 18, 30 percent of black males, 26 percent of Hispanic males and 22 percent of white males have been arrested.  By age 23, 49 percent of black males, 44 percent of Hispanic males and 38 percent of white males have been arrested.
The negative impacts can be great, he says. “States vary on the age that adolescents are considered adults in the eyes of the criminal law, some as young as age 16 and 17,” he says. “Criminal records that show up in searches can impede employment, reduce access to housing, thwart admission to and financing for higher education and affect civic and volunteer activities such as voting or adoption. They also can damage personal and family relationships.”  Read more..
