Merkel against general vaccination obligation
Super-regional Headlines Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel has spoken out against a general vaccination obligation. “As a self-sufficient, self-sufficient citizen, which we are natural in Germany, everyone should weigh this decision,” Merkel said in her Saturday video podcast. Moreover, the Chancellor said that the hurdles for the state to make such a commitment were quite high – “for good reasons”.The self-determination of every citizen is also “very strong”. She personally believes, however, that “vaccination is a risk over-the-disease of difficult diseases, which is very, very much better than risking what might be intolerance, but which is now very, very small.”
