A major financial news source just published shocking details about a research report by two employees at the Federal Reserve Bank. The 36-page report applauds the use of “capital controls” in global markets.

If you’re unfamiliar with the term “capital controls,” it’s probably because we tend to avoid them in the United States in favor of a free market economy.

VLA Comment:  The only impediment may be that the Federal Government will create a bill to stop labeling GMO products.  The government is very invested in “owning the world food supply” via multinational corporations like Monsanto, so we are likely to see a Federal bill.  On the inside, the divvying up of the future global currency pie will depend on “resources”.  The US will get a big piece of the pie as the controller of the world food supply.

​I attended an afternoon lecture by Alanna…she is brilliant…a must read book on the solution of positioning land as a resource for people and food production as opposed to using land as a speculative commodity for personal gain. Solution: Taxing land so that it is not profitable investing it as simply a speculative commodity…concomitant with reducing/eliminating taxes on homes  and labor.  Fascinating read.

Russia will not import GMO products, the country’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said, adding that the nation has enough space and resources to produce organic food.

Moscow has no reason to encourage the production of genetically modified products or import them into the country, Medvedev told a congress of deputies from rural settlements on Saturday.

“If the Americans like to eat GMO products, let them eat it then. We don’t need to do that; we have enough space and opportunities to produce organic food,” he said.  Read more…
