They are missing, through genetic variation, Cytochrome P450 2D6 the major channel for detoxing drugs. If they are prescribed drugs like Risperdal, Adderal, Haldol, Adivan, etc and they do not have an active Cytochrome P450 2D6 they become more and more psychotic and are apt to commit suicide and/or homicide.
