I live in Australia and I am frustrated with the misinformation given by our media. They do not give any voice whatsoever to anybody who questions vaccines. On programs where they advertise a ‘debate’ on vaccinations, they never produce children who have been damaged or medical professionals who doubt vaccines. It is so unbalanced and I’m fed up with the witch hunt(suggesting parents who do not vaccinate should be put in jail)and plain dismissal of anyone who questions this policy.
I am so grateful for you for taking steps to make the public aware of the dangers of vaccinations. I began reading about vaccinations and educating myself about them more than 35 years ago, when my children were young. My daughters have carried the knowledge I gained into the next generation by refusing vaccines for their own children. It’s interesting to note that one of my daughters who had never been vaccinated in her infancy or childhood did get the required vaccines when she was studying to become an EMT and then again in nursing school. As a young adult she acquired a severe allergy to eggs which, years later, by carefully examining the timeline of her vaccines and first allergy episodes, we were able to see had been caused by those vaccines she had gotten while preparing for becoming an EMT. She was just devastated when this became clear to her. Also, because of her nursing schooling and other on-the-job influences, it was much harder for her to make the decision not to vaccinate her first child. She spent many, many months reading about vaccines and discussing with me what she was learning, and worrying and procrastinating, and not knowing what to do. Eventually she decided against all vaccines for her baby. My daughter is so proud and relieved and strong in the decision she has made, and so grateful. The more she learns, the more we both learn, the more thankful we are that we were able to refuse such damaging and unnecessary medical (pharmaceutical) intervention in our lives and lives of our children.
