TSA checkpoints in Tennessee: Fighting Terrorism ARMY ON WHEELS/Random checks and security

Massive effort to bring Federal, State and Local law enforcement together along with encouraging citizens to spy on each other by recruiting truck drivers. “First Observer” program is operated by Team HMS under a Cooperative Agreement with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Trucking Security Program (TSP). The program’s mission is to administer an anti-terrorism and security awareness program for highway professionals in support of the National Preparedness Guidelines.

The same has been going on for year with a CIA/FBI program for industry and citizens in every state called INFRAGUARD which is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the private sector. InfraGard is an association of businesses, academic institutions, state and local law enforcement agencies, and other participants dedicated to sharing information and intelligence to prevent hostile acts against the United States.

Transcendental Meditation: Thousands of Budhist Monks practicing TM

More than 3,000 Buddhist monks in 100 monasteries throughout Southeast Asia have learned the Transcendental Meditation technique, as a result of the work by a revered Japanese Buddhist monk, Reverend Koji Oshima, who is a longtime TM practitioner and certified TM teacher.

According to Rev. Oshima, the Buddhist monks appreciate the simplicity, effortlessness, and profound experience of transcendence, which is gained almost immediately after starting the TM practice.  Read more…
