She is a member of the Society for Experimental Mechanics (SEM), co-founded SEM’s Biological Systems and Materials Division, and has served on the SEM Composite Materials Technical Division. B.S. (Engineering Mechanics (Applied Physics), 1983), Ph.D. (Materials Engineering Science, 1992) from the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The Twin Towers and other buildings just turned to dust as they descended.  Not much rubble at all. Where did the Towers go?
