Millions Are Prescribed Drugs They Don’t Need. When your doctor prescribes a drug it means you really need it, right? Wrong!
Between 16 and 30 per cent of all hospital admissions in the elderly are caused by inappropriate prescribing.  ‘Increasingly, geriatricians are seeing elderly patients on lots of different types of drugs they don’t need.
