First baby born from IVF technique which eliminates inherited disease

family_3249130b

Lucas Meagu was at high risk of inheriting a rare form of muscular dystrophy.  Lucas’ mother Carmen, 26, who works in recruitment, inherited Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease from her father who suffered with the illness all his life.

The genes responsible for Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease were isolated.  Doctors took DNA swabs from Mrs Meagu, her mother and Lucas’s father Gabriel, 30, who works for Vodafone. They then compared the gene sequences at 300,000 different points of the chromosomes to work out which section of genetic code was defective and responsible for the abnormality. The couple then underwent a normal IVF cycle but, crucially, the embryos created from the procedure were biopsied to find out which ones were free of the genetic disease.  Read more…

Vaccines with Fetal Cells, the Implications in Autism Spectrum

Dr. Theresa Deisher

Human fetal DNA introduced with vaccines may be taken up via cellular DNA uptake receptors or may spontaneously penetrate cell membranes that have become permeable during inflammatory reactions, study says.

A trio of recent publications in the journal NEURON reports the presence of hundreds of diverse de novo gene mutations indicating that autism spectrum disorder (ASD) may be a disease of genomic instability, with a significant environmental component.  Altered double strand break formation and repair pathways (DSB) may be a commonality among the diverse genetic mutations that have been documented in ASD.  US birthyear changepoints in AD are apparent in 1980, 1988 and 1996, coinciding with the switch to or introduction of childhood vaccines contaminated with human endogenous retrovirus K (HERVK) and human fetal DNA fragments.  The HERVK and human fetal DNA contaminants could contribute to the genomic instability of ASD demonstrated by de novo mutations.   Read more…

Newborn deaths lead France to reconsider two vaccines (Rotarix & Paul Offit’s Rotateq)

Dr. Paul Offit..The CDC face of stupidity, greed and politics

The two vaccines are administered to prevent against rotavirus, a common virus that ordinarily infects nearly all children by their fifth birthday. Children infected with rotavirus can develop a fever, vomiting and diarrhea.

Rotarix, manufactured by GSK, and RotaTeq, manufactured by Merck, were approved for the French market in 2006 and 2007. These vaccines, which are also licensed in Canada and the U.S., became the subject of controversy in the US in 2010 when they were found to be contaminated, leading to their temporary suspension by the Food and Drug Administration. RotaTeq has also attracted controversy because it was patented by scientist Paul Offit, an outspoken advocate for mandatory vaccinations. An earlier rotavirus vaccine, Wyeth’s RotaShield, was withdrawn from the market in 1999, nine months after it became available in the US, following more than 100 cases of intussusception and one death.  Read More…

Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) “The Syndrome”

the-syndrome-film-243x300
“The Syndrome is an explosive documentary following the crusade of a group of doctors, scientists, and legal scholars who have uncovered that ‘Shaken Baby Syndrome,’ a child abuse theory responsible for hundreds of prosecutions each year in the US, is not scientifically valid. In fact, they say, it does not even exist.”  Film

April 2015: Whooping Cough Outbreak at California School Among Vaccinated Shows Vaccine Failure

pertussis-outbreak-vaccine-failure

KSBW in Salinas California is reporting this month (March 2015) that four fully vaccinated students at Monterey Park School have been diagnosed with pertussis, or whooping cough. KSBW reports that of the 524 students at Monterey Park, 99.5 percent are vaccinated, including the four students who have been diagnosed with whooping cough.  Read more…

School officials said of the 524 students at Monterey Park, 99.5 percent are vaccinated, including the four students who have been diagnosed.  All four have completed their five-day anti-biotic treatment at home and are back at school.

VLA Comment: Why give an ineffective vaccine that damages the immune system when, if you happen to get whooping cough…apparently it is easy to cure in 5 days?

87-92% of those coming down with whooping cough were vaccinated
