Phillipine GOLD: Global Mining Company massacre

Xstrata Copper is the fourth largest global copper producer.  Xstrata plc is an international mining company, listed on both the London Stock Exchange (LSE: XTA) and the SWX Swiss Exchange. Its headquarters are in Zug in Switzerland and it is a member of the FTSE 100 Index. Since the turn of the millennium it has developed from a small player into one of the world’s largest diversified mining groups with the help of a series of large acquisitions. It has major operations/projects in eighteen countries (Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Germany, Jamaica, New Caledonia, Norway, Papua New Guinea, Peru, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, the United States and the United Kingdom) and it is a major producer of copper, coking coal, thermal coal, nickel, ferrochrome, vanadium and zinc. It has smaller scale involvement in aluminum, gold, lead and silver.

Nov. 3, 2012 Updates: Excerpts: Mark Williams, general manager for external affairs of Sagittarius Mines Inc, Xstrata’s local unit, told reporters Thursday that it expected Aquino to meet a government-imposed deadline for giving the project’s go-ahead.

But presidential spokesman Ricky Carandang said the timetable would likely not be met because the person overseeing the government’s review, Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo, died in a plane crash last month. Sagittarius (local unit) has plowed $350 million on the $5.9 billion Tampakan project, which it describes as one of the world’s largest undeveloped copper-gold deposits. If allowed to proceed, Williams said it would generate $7.2 billion in tax revenues for the Philippine government over 20 years.

GMO insanity getting worse: Agent orange ingredient

According to the author, Charles Benbrook, a research professor at the Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources at Washington State University: “Contrary to often-repeated claims that today’s genetically-engineered crops have, and are reducing pesticide use, the spread of glyphosate-resistant weeds in herbicide-resistant weed management systems has brought about substantial increases in the number and volume of herbicides applied. If new genetically engineered forms of corn and soybeans tolerant of 2,4-D are approved, the volume of 2,4-D sprayed could drive herbicide usage upward by another approximate 50 percent. The magnitude of increases in herbicide use on herbicide-resistant hectares has dwarfed the reduction in insecticide use on Bt crops over the past 16 years, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Gardasil deaths account for over 60% of all vaccine-related death reports

Too Fast or Not Too Fast:
The FDA’s Approval of Merck’s HPV Vaccine Gardasil
authors: Lucija Tomljenovic and Christopher A. Shaw

Tables in this study show, for example, that the Gardasil vaccine accounts for over 60% of all vaccine-related death reports; The Gardasil vaccine accounts for over 80% of vaccine-related permanent disabilities reports.  You can contact the authors to read this study: Lucija Tomljenovic   lucijat77@gmail.com

Excerpt: “Merck’s HPV vaccine Gardasil failed (and continues to fail) to meet a single one of the four criteria required by the FDA for Fast Track approval. In spite of this, Gardasil continues to be promoted as if it already had post-phase 4 confirmatory trial approval and proven efficacy
against cervical cancer…”

FDA and CDC rely exclusively on data provided by the manufacturer. Disregarding the abundance of adverse events reported to the Vaccine Adverse Events Report System (VAERS), independent research studies, outcries from doctors who have the courage to speak out and heartbreaking personal stories – the official  sound bite from the FDA and CDC is that Gardasil is safe and effective, and its benefits continue to outweigh its risks.

Excerpt:  “Any federal agency responsible for assuring drug safety should not exclusively rely on data provided by the drug manufacturer, as unreliable research (i.e., use of an reactive and potentially toxic placebo) cannot be used to reliably evaluate the safety of any drug”.

New Vaccine Studies: Mercury in-utero: 4,250% increase (VAERS) in fetal deaths

Sept. 2012 Human Environmental Toxicology Journal:  Inutero injections of the influenza flu vaccine in the 2009/10 Pandemic season caused a 4,250% increase in fetal deaths according to VAERS data  Open access pdf of study

2012 Toxicological & Environmental Chemistry Journal: Maternal transfer of mercury to the developing embryo/fetus: is there a safe level?  Examining actual fetal tissue, this study focused on standardized embryonic and fetal Hg exposures via primary exposure to the pregnant mother of two common Hg sources (dietary fish and parenteral vaccines). Data demonstrated that Hg exposures, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy, at well-established dose/weight ratios produced severe damage to humans including death. Read study

JAMA:  Mercury exposure in utero causes ADHD

Prenatal Exposure to Mercury and Fish Consumption During Pregnancy and Attention-Deficit Hyperacity disorder (ADHD)-Related Behavior in Children.  Conclusions Low-level prenatal mercury exposure is associated with a greater risk of ADHD-related behaviors, and fish consumption during pregnancy is protective of these behaviors. These findings underscore the difficulties of balancing the benefits of fish intake with the detriments of low-level mercury exposure in developing dietary recommendations in pregnancy. Big Brother RFID chip in schools: Tracking students/start them early to get used to it!

Total RFID Surveillance

Imagine a future in which your every belonging is marked with a unique number identifiable with the swipe of a scanner; where your refrigerator keeps track of its contents; where the location of your car is always pinpoint-able; and where signal-emitting microchips storing personal information are implanted beneath your skin or embedded in your inner organs. This is the future of radio frequency identification (RFID), a technology whose application has so far been limited largely to supply-chain management. RFID’s are set to be applied in a whole range of consumer settings.

Federal Court overturns District Judge decision & rules in favor of indefinite detention

In and around Sept 12, 2012 District Judge Katherine Forest ruled to ban the  enforcement of part of a new law that permits indefinite military detention, a measure critics including a prize-winning journalist say is too vague and threatens free speech.

Genetically Engineered “Algae” by Monsanto OH NO!

Perhaps this is why Monsanto want to genetically engineer Algae…Energy source and fertilizer at the risk of destroying the ecosystem at its most fundamental. Mutated, genetically engineered (GE) or synthetic algae that may be able to use saltwater and polluted water, but there are risks of out-of-control consequences. Critics of GE algae say that there are great risks that include mutation, contamination, becoming out-of-control, killing fish and polluting water systems.

The purpose of genetically engineered products is to lock up income-generating patents and to create monopolies.  READ MORE…

To be competitive and independent from fluctuating support from (local) policy on the long run, biofuels should equal or beat the cost level of fossil fuels. Here, algae based fuels hold great promise, directly related to the potential to produce more biomass per unit area in a year than any other form of biomass. The break-even point for algae-based biofuels is estimated to occur in about ten to fifteen years.[
