Marijuana for Pets

peanut-the-chihuahua-pot-cookie-q4q

EXCERPT:

But with Little Kitty becoming increasingly isolated, it was time to give it a try. She got a medical marijuana card and purchased two edible oils made for pets and derived from cannabis that she squirts into her pet’s mouth.

Little Kitty doesn’t hide anymore. In fact, she’s more like her old self: sunbathing on the living room carpet, playing with Ms. Mastramico’s other cat, Valentina. “When I’ve given it to her, she’s never acted high: falling face-first into her food bowl, chowing down,” Ms. Mastramico said. “She comes out and socializes, wants to be in your lap, wants to be petted. It’s a very noticeable difference.”

Other animal lovers who have turned to cannabis-based products to alleviate a host of pet maladies, including seizures, inflammation, anxiety and pain, are reporting similar results. Although they have not been approved by regulators, marijuana-based treatments are being used not only for cats and dogs, but for pigs, horses and domesticated wild animals.

1.5 Billion Birds-GONE – report shows

cpt109360425

The report is the most complete survey of land bird numbers to date and attempts to assess the health of populations on a continental basis. It concludes that, while there are still a lot of birds in the sky, there aren’t anywhere near as many as there used to be.

Evening grosbeaks are down 92 per cent since 1970. Snowy owls have lost 64 per cent of their numbers. The Canada warbler has lost 63 per cent of it population.

Tally it all up and there should be another 1.5 billion birds perching in backyards and flying around in forests than there are, says the report.  Read more…

First ever survey into post-vaccine complications in dogs

Dogs and Vaccine Damage Within Three Months of a Vaccine Event

Excerpt:  The first, astounding, finding of our initial survey results showed that, overall, 55% of all illnesses reported by participants occurred within the first three months of vaccination. This has risen to 66% in the second analysis. If the vaccine had no bearing on the illness, you would expect to see no more than 25% occurring within that three month time frame.

Dogs contracting the diseases they were vaccinated against:

Hepatitis – 63.6% occurred within three months of vaccination

Parainfluenza – 50% occurred within three months of vaccination (note: it is highly probable that parainfluenza can be caused by vaccines, at 95% confidence interval)

Parvovirus – 68.2% occurred within three months of vaccination (note: at 95% confidence, this satisfies the one-tail test but not the two-tail. More data would allow us to prove whether vaccines cause the disease they are designed to prevent, in this case parvovirus)

Distemper – 55.6% occurred within three months of vaccination  Read more…

Merck Animal vaccine – Seizures, immune failure and death

Dog-Allergies

Dogs suffering allergic reactions and death after being injected with popular Merck vaccine

Seizures, immune failure and death

The leptospirosis vaccine, Nobivac L4, is produced by Merck subsidiary MSD Animal Health, which says that despite its optional status, it is one of the most widely used dog vaccines.

Vets in ‘denial’

According to spaniel breeder Bridgette Evans, every dog she has given the L4 vaccine to has suffered an adverse reaction. Out of one litter of six pups, every single one developed swollen glands, in some cases as big as tennis balls. One of the dogs died within three weeks of the shot.

Carol Blackburn-Harvey, another breeder, said her dog became “overbalanced” and unable to walk three weeks after getting the shot, and died soon after.

“Vets are not willing to admit or are in denial about the risk posed by the vaccine – it can kill perfectly fit and healthy dogs,”  READ MORE…

Dog Microchipping Now Legal Requirement in UK

Dog owners throughout the UK are now legally required to have their pets microchipped, or else face a fine of up to £500.

All dogs in England, Scotland and Wales must have the chip by the time they are 8 weeks old. Northern Ireland has had the law in place since 2013.

If local authorities discover a dog who has not been microchipped, the owner has 21 days to comply with the law or be fined.

It is believed that one million dogs in the UK are not currently microchipped.

Scientific studies involving mice and rats show that test animals have developed aggressive and lethal microchip-induced cancerous growths. Scientific reports also show that chipped zoo animals have developed microchip-associated cancerous growths.  Medical reports and scientific studies also reveal that dogs and cats have developed aggressive cancerous growths at the site of their microchip implants.

USDA: Wiping out Lyme disease carrying ticks with natural fungi and nematodes

ZD-Ticks-OnFinger

Aolores Hill, parasitologist for USDA’s Agricultural Research Service, collects the blood-sucking ticks as part of a 5-year project to biologically control the pests with microscopic roundworms, called nematodes.

Hill’s goal is to formulate the worms into a product that could be sprayed in residential areas, like backyards, where homeowners can be bitten by ticks infected with Borrelia burgdorferi, the bacterium that causes Lyme disease. In 1996, the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia, received more than 16,000 reports of the tickborne disease. Ninety percent came from the northeastern United States, where I. scapularis is most prevalent.

Her top tick-fighting recruits include nine strains of the nematode species Steinernema and four strains of Heterorhabditis. Both are well known to science, she says. While harmless to higher vertebrates (humans and livestock, for instance), the nematodes are renowned for attacking many insects pests.  Read more…

Lyme Disease Cure: The Bee Bus Mission

VLA Comment:
I (the founder of VLA) cured Lyme disease about 8 years ago with the Salt/C protocol. This summer, either I had a relapse; or I acidified my body by drinking coffee; or I got bit again. In any case I had begun to think that because G-d loves me, that the solution was that a cure was found soon. It is interesting to note that a few years ago, in Peru, I donated $7,000 to a young man who needed financing to save the bees in the forest of Peru. I am not surprised that the cure has come to me from my fellow creatures…the bees. I will be trying this in March. I will let you know. In the meantime check it out yourself. Watch for the Bee bus!

Animals: Jumping species-DOG FLU-vaccines

dog

VLA COMMENT:  I remember this flu outbreak in dogs caught my eye in 2004.  I got the hit then that there was some experimentation going on…and the racing greyhound track was a perfect place to experiment.  That is my opinion…another pharmaceutical experimentation.  Now we have the flu vaccine for dogs.  Perhaps it will come to a point where you can’t get your dog into an animal hospital without he/she getting a flu shot first, like they are doing with humans.

For dogs to get the influenza shot, they have to be at least 6 weeks old. Most veterinarians will suggest the two-shot vaccine be given three weeks apart. The booster shot should be administered once a year for maximum efficiency.

Propaganda “Most dogs who have the vaccination will not experience any negative effects, Arlington Animal Hospital wrote. If there is an adverse reaction, small-breed dogs are the most at risk for a side effect. The most common is fatigue. Other possible symptoms include fever, vomiting, diarrhea, respiratory distress, facial swelling, pale gums and pain at the injection site. There is a chance a dog could go into an anaphylactic event, which would need immediate medical attention.

(EXCERPT) Natural distribution (notice the recent dates)

A Parvovirus outbreak in Queensland, Australia, has killed dozens of dogs since September 2014. Pictured: A dog in Chicago, United States, wears a protective mask.

The first recognized outbreak of H3N8 canine influenza occurred in racing greyhounds in January 2004 at a track in Florida. From June to August of 2004, outbreaks of respiratory disease were reported at 14 tracks in 6 states (Florida, Texas, Alabama, Arkansas, West Virginia, and Kansas). Between January and May of 2005, outbreaks occurred at 20 tracks in 11 states (Florida, Texas, Arkansas, Arizona, West Virginia, Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts). Since then, the H3N8 canine influenza has been documented in 40 states and Washington, DC. The H3N8 strain of canine influenza virus is endemic in areas of Colorado, Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania.

The first recognized U.S. outbreak of H3N2 canine influenza occurred in 2015, starting in Chicago and spreading to otherr Midwestern states. Since March 2015, outbreaks have occurred in a number of areas throughout the U.S. and more than 2,000 dogs have been confirmed positive for the H3N2 virus.
