In children exposed in the womb, methylmercury causes problems with speech, language development, learning, and memory. So understanding why mercury-contaminated songbirds can’t sing their songs could help scientists learn more about how human brains are damaged, too.

“Methylmercury can affect the very motor functions that control speech—something that may have a parallel in the bird world,” said Philippe Grandjean, a Harvard University environmental health scientist who led pioneering research on the IQs of mercury-exposed children.

Agri-Terrorism? Feds Shut Down Seed Library in Pennsylvania!

In yet another example of the federal government’s war on self-sufficiency, the U.S. Department of Agriculture shut down a seed library in Pennsylvania, claiming that a system whereby residents could borrow heirloom seeds and then replace them at harvest time was a violation of the 2004 Seed Act, while a commissioner warned that such behavior could lead to “agri-terrorism.”

And as far as Iowa State University is concerned their fabulous Biotech dept funded by the industry is doing well overshadowing the poor sustainable agriculture department. There is no Food Security without a protected program for small organic and/or sustainable farming operations.

Clearly the solution to solving destitution that leads to malnutrition and starvation is addressing the socioeconomic disparity that created it in the first place, but the monopolies that benefit from this disparity the most are in no way about to do so. Instead, their proposal is to feed the third world with genetically modified gruel to make up for the fact that poor populations cannot access a normal, balanced diet. This “GMO gruel” not only allows big-agricultural monopolies to expand their markets under the guise of “charity,” but allows them to monopolize a greater portion of the world’s food supply. By hooking the third world on “GMO gruel” that will be patented, centrally controlled, and beyond the means of local populations to reproduce independently, the very perpetrators of global disparity will only tighten their grip on humanity tighter still.

Monsanto’s herbicide Roundup has been linked to a mysterious fatal kidney disease epidemic that has appeared in Central America, Sri Lanka and India.

For years, scientists have been trying to unravel the mystery of a chronic kidney disease epidemic that has hit Central America, India and Sri Lanka. The disease occurs in poor peasant farmers who do hard physical work in hot climes. In each instance, the farmers have been exposed to herbicides and to heavy metals. Studies conducted over the last decade have clearly demonstrated the link between adverse reactions to Psycho-Pharmaceutical medications and underactive or underperforming CYP450 enzymes. This has caused some to wonder whether or not the recent uptick in mass shootings and the obvious link to many of the perpetrators and prescription drugs could be related to the performance of the CYP450 enzymes. Additional research, however, is now causing more questions to be asked in reference to the connections that chemicals like Glyphosate may have in the inhibition of proper CYP450 performance and, thus, in the uptick in mass shootings. Mass shootings, suicides, adverse reactions to vaccines, Autism, chronic illness, diabetes, obesity, asthma…are the results of the body not being able to detoxify toxins through its natural major detox channel – Cytochrome P450 . This field of focus on drug interactions on the body is called Pharmacogenetics. Education amongst the medical profession has been suppressed by the pharmacuetical industry. Yet all classifications physicians today are prescribing medications without understand the status of the individuals ability to metablolize these drugs and rid them from the body. For example, Pediatricians have prescribed drugs such as paxil, prozac, etc to over 275,000 children 0-1 year old. 10,000 toddlers are on psyche drugs. 25% of American children are on psyche drugs. Ritalin and Adderall, amphetamine drugs saturate our schools. Children have to line at camp in the morning to get their daily dosage.

A simple test to determine an individuals metabolic status has not been made standard of care although knowledge of this drug interaction causing suicidal and homicidal ideations is over 15 years old. More over, there are a variety of psyche drugs that are labeled as causing “suicidal ideations” (A self blame syndrome), but the “H” word is not mentioned ( homicide (an outer “blame” syndrome).

This labeling suggests that the manufacturers are aware of the variance in the ability of individuals to metabolize their drugs. Respiridal, for example, now includes Cytochrome P450 channels of detox in their package inserts. But who reads them?

It is further interesting to note that the cytochrome is “maturing”. This poses the question of how do infants one hour old, 2 months old, 6 months old metabolize toxins such as mercury and other ingredients in vaccines containing hormones, toxins; have not been studied for carcinogenic or mutagenic effects; are environmental pollutants, and other xenobiotics, all of which are metabolized by CYP450 enzymes. It is also worth mentioning that glutathione which is ultra depleted in children with Autism is also regulated by this Cytochrome.

As the author points out, as with human life, plant life also contains this mechanism of detoxification involving Cytochrome P450. Monsanto patents reveal that Cytochrome P450 is key to their Round Up (Glysophate) herbicide, the killing of natural plant life on behalf of the survival of their patented genetically manipulated companion seeds. Breaking News: New York State – High Court verdict…Municipalities can ban FRACKING

On June 30, 2014, the Court of Appeals handed down a landmark decision, ruling that New York municipalities have the right to keep fracking out of their borders, a victory for Dryden and communities across the state. The town of Dryden had fought fracking. And, at long last, they had won.

“I thought the industry was so powerful and that there was nothing I could do,” said McRae. “Then I learned there was something I could do just by talking to my neighbors.” (in Dryden, New York)

“The town has a very strong case. Previous courts have ruled that localities retain their longstanding power to regulate land use, including by prohibiting industrial activities such as gas development in their communities. We’ll do everything we can to ensure this victory stands.”

After Dryden passed their ban more than 170 other towns in New York followed suit. The fate of those towns—and many more that hoped to pass bans—hung in the balance as the case advanced through the legal system.

As the Dryden case advanced, winning in two lower courts, other communities started to take action. In addition to the more than 170 towns in New York, communities in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio and California have all taken action to protect their local communities from fracking.

Attorney Goldberg (Deborah Goldberg, EarthJustice.org, argues before the Court of Appeals on June 3, 2014) argued that the New York State Legislature had not, in a 1981 law, granted the oil and gas industry the right to override long-held zoning powers of municipalities. “The idea that this industry would get the extreme and unprecedented right that no other industry has ever received in the state of New York simply because we want to promote the oil and gas industry” makes no sense, she said. “We’re not promoting it at all costs.” Read more…

Russian GMO ban in full effect as of July 2014

The earlier resolution banning GMO will come into full effect in July 2014. “It is necessary to ban GMOs, to impose moratorium (on) it for 10 years. While GMOs will be prohibited, we can plan experiments, tests, or maybe even new methods of research could be developed. It has been proven that not only in Russia, but also in many other countries in the world, GMOs are dangerous. Methods of obtaining the GMOs are not perfect, therefore, at this stage, all GMOs are dangerous. Consumption and use of GMOs obtained in such way can lead to tumors, cancers and obesity among animals. Bio-technologies certainly should be developed, but GMOs should be stopped. We should stop it from spreading. ” – Irina Ermakova, VP of Russia’s National Association for Genetic Safety

VLA Comment: I would wish that Russia would turn organic. However, in my opinion, It is Russia’s signal to those is the know, that it is a strategy to undermine the United State’s plan to get a big piece of the currency reset based on the “resource” of owning the world food supply. So how would Warka Water’s low-tech design hold up in remote sub-Saharan villages? Internal field tests have shown that one Warka Water tower can supply more than 25 gallons of water throughout the course of a day, Vittori claims. He says because the most important factor in collecting condensation is the difference in temperature between nightfall and daybreak, the towers are proving successful even in the desert, where temperatures, in that time, can differ as much as 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
