Abstract
The role of thimerosal containing vaccines in the development of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) has been an area of intense debate, as has the presence of mercury dental amalgams and fish ingestion by pregnant mothers. We studied the effects of thimerosal on cell proliferation and mitochondrial function from B-lymphocytes taken from individuals with autism, their nonautistic twins, and their nontwin siblings.

Excerpt: Before the advent of the measles vaccine in 1963, death rates had already dropped 98.6 percent for the period while mortality records were kept. The new study (Univ of Pittsburgh-CDC study to propagandize vaccines) ignores any potential reason for the 98.6 percent drop in measles mortality before 1963, there is no rationale to conclude the measles vaccine prevented any deaths whatsoever.
VLA comment: So why have we been vaccinating with the Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine which on top of no need for…Dr. Wakefield found the vaccine measles virus in the guts of Autistic Children.
For example, there was never a vaccine developed for Scarlet Fever, however, in the UK it declined from being one of the more deadly infectious diseases with a mortality rate of 160 per 100,000 around 1860 to almost zero by 1940. Likewise, pertussis was already rapidly declining before the vaccine became widely used in the late 1940s.[5]
…and there is a growing body of research pointing to recent whooping cough outbreaks being directly linked to the vaccine.

VLA Comment: These are great soundbites taken out of context of their propaganda spin. The two studies cited below show that getting the flu shot gives you a higher chance of getting respiratory infections such as pneumonia.

who go to preschool or day care in New York City will now be required to get flu shots. Despite organized opposition of parents, the Board of Health voted unanimously Wednesday in favor of the mandatory vaccine for children under 6 years old. VLA comment: First of all, this is another example of how the establishment blows off the people. Sallie Elkordy led a well organized fight to prevent this from happening but the establishment doesn’t care what we think even if we have a million man walk. I would like to know how many kids in the past ten years per pre school class died of the flu that would warrant this. In other words, no proof, no science, no statistics that warrant this except that the government gets nearly $1.00 (paid by the consumer) to its coffers every time a vaccine is given. I would like to see how many people died from flu/pneumonia in the hospitals all these years and compare them with the patients now who are under the care of vaccinated health professionals. Having pushed HEALTHCARE WORKERS into accepting the flu shot, the establishment now recommends that healthcare workers get 6 vaccines of multiple vaccines (up to 16 doses). A Johns Hopkins scientist has issued a blistering report on influenza vaccines in the British Medical Journal (BMJ). Peter Doshi, Ph.D., charges that although the vaccines are being pushed on the public in unprecedented numbers, they are less effective and cause more side effects than alleged by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Then the peds Dr. came in, did her well check then said they would no longer see my little one in their office.

England/Wales: Combined infectious disease mortality rates 1838 – 1980
“The combined death rate from scarlet fever, diphtheria, whooping cough and measles among children up to fifteen shows that nearly 90 percent of the total decline in mortality between 1860 and 1965 had occurred before the introduction of antibiotics and widespread immunization. Fast forward to September 2012, when the scientific journal Food and Chemical Toxicology (FCT) published a study that caused an international storm (Séralini, et al. 2012). The study, led by Prof Gilles-Eric Séralini of the University of Caen, France, suggested a Monsanto genetically modified (GM) maize, and the Roundup herbicide it is grown with, pose serious health risks. The two-year feeding study found that rats fed both suffered severe organ damage and increased rates of tumors and premature death. Both the herbicide (Roundup) and the GM maize are Monsanto products. Corinne Lepage, France’s former environment minister, called the study “a bomb”.
Subsequently, an orchestrated campaign was launched to discredit the study in the media and persuade the journal to retract it. Many of those who wrote letters to FCT (which is published by Elsevier) had conflicts of interest with the GM industry and its lobby groups, though these were not publicly disclosed.
The journal did not retract the study. But just a few months later, in early 2013 the FCT editorial board acquired a new “Associate Editor for biotechnology”, Richard E. Goodman. This was a new position, seemingly established especially for Goodman in the wake of the “Séralini affair”.
Richard E. Goodman is professor at the Food Allergy Research and Resource Program, University of Nebraska. But he is also a former Monsanto employee, who worked for the company between 1997 and 2004. While at Monsanto he assessed the allergenicity of the company’s GM crops and published papers on its behalf on allergenicity and safety issues relating to GM food (Goodman and Leach 2004).
