HOUSTON FESTIVALS: Now, in what is being described as “criminal conduct and extortion,” the Chairman of TEAM WORLDFEST in Houston describes how his film festival was aggressively threatened in a criminal manner by government officials to pull the film:
“After very threatening calls late yesterday (Monday) from high Houston Government officials (the first and only time they have ever called in 49 years) – we had no choice but to drop the film. Heavy handed censorship, to say the least… they both threatened severe action against the festival if we showed it, so it is out. Their actions would have cost us more than $100,000 in grants”.
Putin’s speech at the Valdai conference in Sochi, Oct. 24, 2014. This is probably the most important political speech since Churchill’s “Iron Curtain” speech of March 5, 1946.
Sample excerpt:
“Let’s ask ourselves, how comfortable are we with this, how safe are we, how happy living in this world, and how fair and rational has it become? Maybe, we have no real reasons to worry, argue and ask awkward questions? Maybe the United States’ exceptional position and the way they are carrying out their leadership really is a blessing for us all, and their meddling in events all around the world is bringing peace, prosperity, progress, growth and democracy, and we should maybe just relax and enjoy it all? Let me say that this is not the case, absolutely not the case”.
“Instead of settling conflicts it leads to their escalation, instead of sovereign and stable states we see the growing spread of chaos, and instead of democracy there is support for a very dubious public ranging from open neo-fascists to Islamic radicals.”

The world is facing some huge problems. There’s a lot of talk about how to solve them. But talk doesn’t reduce pollution, or grow food, or heal the sick. That takes doing. This film is the story about a group of doers, the elegantly simple inventions they have made to change the lives of billions of people, and the unconventional billionaire spearheading the project.

Excerpts from NY Times movie review
“Inside Job,” Charles Ferguson’s meticulous and infuriating documentary about the causes and consequences of the financial crisis of 2008,]. Dozens of interviews — along with news clips and arresting aerial shots of New York, Iceland and other disaster areas — are folded into a clear and absorbing history, narrated by Matt Damon. The music (an opening song, “Big Time,” by Peter Gabriel, and a score by Alex Heffes) and the clean wide-screen cinematography provide an aesthetic polish that is welcome for its own sake and also important to the movie’s themes. The handsomely lighted and appointed interiors convey a sense of the rarefied, privileged worlds in which the Wall Street operators and their political enablers flourished, and the elegance of the presentation also subliminally bolsters the film’s authority. This is not a piece of ragged muckraking or breathless advocacy. It rests its outrage on reason, research and careful argument.
This picture taken on April 3, 2013 shows a Chinese health worker looking at viles as workers prepare an H7N9 virus detection kit at the Center for Disease Control (CDC) in Beijing. A man who died was one of two H7N9 avian influenza infections reported in Zhejiang in eastern China on April 3, the official state news agency said, citing local authorities, bringing the country’s total number of cases to nine. Chinese authorities are trying to determine how exactly the new variety of bird flu infected people, but say there is no evidence yet of human-to-human transmission. AS03 (for “Adjuvant System 03”) is the trade name for a squalene-based immunologic adjuvant used in various vaccine products by GlaxoSmithKline (GSK).
VLA Comment: Squalene adjuvant is the adjuvant in the Anthrax vaccine that was tested on US soldiers. The horrible effects are documented in a riveting documentary, DIRECT ORDER by Scott Miller (a must have for your library).
MF59 is an immunologic adjuvant that uses squalene. It is Novartis‘ proprietary adjuvant that is added to influenza vaccines to help stimulate the human body’s immune response through production of CD4 memory cells.
MF59 is the first oil-in-water influenza vaccine adjuvant to be commercialized in combination with a seasonal influenza virus vaccine. MF59 is used as an adjuvant in Europe whereas; in the United States Alum (aluminum hydroxide) is used.
“Pandemrix is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline in Europe and was specifically produced for pandemic 2009 H1N1 influenza. It was not used before 2009, and has not been used since the influenza pandemic season (2009-2010). It contains an oil-in-water emulsion adjuvant called ASO3.”
