HPV Tokyo, Japan: Eight Teens suffer severe side effects from HPV vaccine

Kyodo-press-conferenceTOKYO, Aug. 24 Kyodo – Eight teenage sufferers of severe side effects of cervical cancer vaccines and their parents called on health minister Norihisa Tamura on Friday to permanently end the government’s subsidy program for the vaccines.

The schoolgirls aged between 14 and 18, including four in wheelchairs, and their parents are members of the Nationwide Liaison Association of Cervical Cancer Vaccine Victims and Parents.
