I have this advice to any parents that have lost their children to this criminal enterprise: The Child Protective Services in every state get their authority from state statutes and administrative rules. They can only act within these laws. In thirty plus years of study into the criminal enterprise I have never found one government employee that knows or follows their own laws that are intended to control or limit their power, and what these government agencies do. Not only do they usually fail to know their statutes and administrative rules, they believe they don’t have to follow them. The very first thing you should do is ask for a copy of the statutes and administrative rules applicable to what they are doing, or at least ask them to cite the statutes and rules being used by them in your particular situation, that way you can look them up. You don’t need a lawyer to do this, and most, if not all can be found on line for free. If you’re unable to find them on line, most law schools have a law library open to the public. Don’t trust a lawyer to do this for you, do it yourself! It is you that needs to educate yourself. It will be worth your time to do this. You may be surprised at what you find. Chances are good they failed to follow the law in your case. I am not a lawyer and don’t claim to be. I am just a well informed citizen. Telling you to look up the law applicable to your case is not legal advice.
