Clinical Pharmacogenetics in Pediatric Patients

Newborns and infants rapidly undergo simultaneous stages of organ growth and demonstrate large variability in drug response and metabolizing capabilities.[1,2] The enzymes, transporters and targets important for pediatric drugs all have the potential to vary along developmental timelines in terms of affinity, functional capacity and expression. Drug-metabolizing enzymes can vary according to chronological age.[3,4]

As such, determining gene expression patterns at various ontological periods becomes of key importance in formulating treatment plans for pediatric patients. Exposure to toxins or pharmaceutical agents or lack of medical treatment of a particular illness at sensitive periods of development could irreversibly disrupt the normal maturation of an individual. What is Cytochrome P450 and what does it have to do with drugs and vaccine metabolism and adverse reactions?

Cytochrome P-450 is the liver’s enzyme system and is responsible for most drug metabolism.  Numerous medications, nutrients, and herbal therapies are metabolized through the cytochrome P450 (CYP450) enzyme system. This system can be inhibited or induced by drugs including excipients in vaccines. It is to be noted that cytochrome P450 is maturing and is immature in infants who are regularly vaccinated with Hepatitis B as early as one hour and those who receive the Vitamin K injection.

There are more than 50 CYP450 enzymes, but the CYP1A2, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP1A2, CYP3A4, and CYP3A5 enzymes are responsible for metabolizing 45% of drug metabolism. The CYP2D6 (20–30%), the CYP2C9 (10%) and the CYP2E1 and CYP1A2 (5%) complete this enzyme system. Many ingredients in vaccines inhibit Cytochrome P450, therefore the offending agent remains in the body of the infant and toddler and act as a poison damaging the mitachondria found in every cell in the body except for the blood.   If a medication is taken with an agent that inhibits its metabolism, then the toxin level can rise and result in a harmful or adverse effect.

But it is not only that “all” infants  have immature Cyp 450 enzymes.  For example, 10% of Caucasians are non-metabolizers (Cyp 450 2D6).  For their whole life long these poor (polymorphic) metabolizers cannot metabolize 20-30% of drugs.  7% of African Americans are poor/non metabolizers of drugs dependent on CYP2D6.  Due to hereditary genetic variations (not defects) they do not have the activity of Cyp 2D6. That means that children and teens given drugs such as Adderall, Haldol, Respiridal; street drugs like LSD, psilosybn, cocaine, codeine without adequate genetic pre-testing are likely to have “drug induced psychosis”; suicidal ideation, homicidal ideations by which “heinous” thoughts drive them to such violence as school shootings and mass attacks.

Medical treatments and drug protocols including vaccines should be  implemented within a framework of the patient’s heritage, race, and culture in order to provide effective management modalities. Infants as well as adults should be assessed for their ability to metabolize the ingredients in vaccines.

When in comes to diet,  CYP450 inducers and inhibitors are commonly ingested items such as grapefruit juice (inhibitor) and tobacco and herbs such as St. John’s Wort (inducers).  In the case of grapefruit juice, there are numerous medications known to interact with grapefruit juice including statins, antiarrhythmic agents, immunosuppressive agents, and calcium channel blockers. Furthermore, the inhibition of the enzyme system seems to be dose dependent; thus, the more a patient drinks, the more the inhibition that occurs. Additionally, the effects can last for several days if grapefruit juice is consumed on a regular basis. Luckily, the effect of this is not seen with other citrus juices.

Hopefully, this brief review has opened the door to your inquisitive nature on how the liver’s enzyme system is effected by numerous medications and vaccine excipients and why some patients experience clinically significant unanticipated adverse reactions or therapeutic failures.

While child mortality progressively declined across all countries, mortality in the US has been higher than in peer nations since the 1980s. From 2001 to 2010 the risk of death in the US was 76 percent greater for infants and 57 percent greater for children ages 1–19.

A rogue industry out of control due to the U.S. Congress in 1986 bailing out the pharmaceutical industry because of a ‘boatload’ of lawsuits against their vaccines. Big Pharma threatened not to make any more vaccines, if it didn’t get product liability legal exemptions for damages from their vaccines.

It’s rather interesting that Big Pharma wanted, threatened and obtained their vaccine exemptions, but humans, parents, children and pets cannot have exemptions!  What happened to a level playing field?

As a result, the pharmaceutical industry is falling all over itself in a rush to produce close to 300 new vaccines. Does that mean the CDC/FDA will mandate a vaccine a day for everyone in the USA?  That should be considered criminal: Injecting neurotoxins which have not been tested for safety when given in combinations of up to nine vaccines at one time, especially to 4 and 6 month old babies!

The Obama administration’s FCC launched the Spectrum Frontiers rules to mandate 5G rollout as a “national priority.” In the rules, we find a disturbing initiative; that is, technology will drive policy rather than vice versa. Wheeler stated this in no uncertain terms. In other words, the private telecommunications industrial complex is being given precedence over elected legislators, including Congressional leaders who voice deep concerns about 5G’s threats. It also has precedence over the warnings voiced by the medical, health and environmental agencies.

However, the 5G race actually goes back to the Clinton White House. The Telecommunications Act (TCA) is a dismal piece of legislation. It is another incident where Clinton was a far more loyal enabler to private corporate interests instead of the public. Clinton’s TCA decrees that no health or environmental concern can interfere with telecom installations. It gives full power to the FCC to regulate telecom EMF’s health effects, yet the FCC is not a health agency nor are there any biomedical experts in the FCC. The CDC reported in 2018 that 7,111 students have autism; 8,992 preschool children have developmental delays. Students with autism cost Colorado schools $96 million annually.

In his Letter to the Editor, March 20, “Diagnosis of autism increasing, not the condition itself,” the author “Dr.” Gene I. Katz is neither an MD nor credentialed to assess the autism epidemic.  His website shows an MS degree in Counseling, University of Phoenix and certification in Sexology.  Mr. Katz promotes erroneous notions that the increase in autism is merely better diagnosing or changes in diagnostic criteria.

DSM-IV was in place from 2000 to 2013, while autism in Colorado schools increased from 338 students to 5,774 students using the same diagnostic criteria. “Better diagnosis” cannot explain the 17-fold increase using the same DSM diagnostic criteria for 13 years. CO Dept. of Ed’s government data reports that since 1992, Colorado student population grew by 49% while autism increased by over 400%. That is 17 Colorado students with autism were reported in 1992 and the CDE reported that 7805 students in 2018 have autism. Students with autism cost Colorado schools $96 million annually.

Colorado is not alone. The Philly Inquirer reports Apr. 11th: Autism spectrum disorder rates in New Jersey 4-year-olds rose by 43 percent in four years…”It’s very likely that the next time we survey autism… the rate will be even higher,” said Walter Zahorodny, associate professor of pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School…The increases appear to reflect actual growth in the rate of children with autism, not just more diagnoses, according to Zahorodny.

Let’s promote more research and funding for autism and stop denying its real increase!

Turkey tail mushrooms are the mushrooms you see growing horizontally on trees in the fall. They are not eatable, but you can make a tincture.  It is said to cure breast cancer.

Reishi mushrooms have been studied and in most cases rids the body of HPV. (see studies and the product they used which is available for consumers)

I recommend that you eat a lot of mushrooms and let fungus fight fungus.  I think the good guys are going to win.

Some say the mold is from toxic agriculture.  I think Polio became virulent when toxic agriculture rolled into the lake and water ways, where people were known to contract Polio.

Citric acid is the principal organic acid found in citrus fruits. To meet increasing demands it is produced from carbohydrate feedstock by fermentation with the fungus Aspergillus niger and the yeasts of Candida.

The Mount Sinai patient died after 90 days in the hospital. According to The New York Times, testing in his room revealed the organism had spread to almost all surfaces. The hospital ended up having to go as far as ripping out ceiling and floor tiles during its efforts to disinfect the room.

There are two main challenges when it comes to the C. auris organism. The first is that it is incredibly difficult to detect, as it does not show in regular blood tests. A medical professional must suspect the infection so that advanced laboratory testing and technology can be used to look for the organism. The symptoms associated with C. auris mimic other infections, often resulting in misdiagnosis and improper treatment protocols. This problem is further complicated by the fact that most patients are already seriously ill with other conditions at the time of infection and diagnosis.

The second challenge is that C. auris is resistant to the antifungal medications most often used to treat Candida strains.
