Is the use of depleted uranium by the USA in Iraq, Bosnia & the Balkans that results in cancer, leukemias, birth defects, miscarriages, generation after generation, making the air, water, and soil radioactive for 4.3 billion years more or less egregious than Syrian chemical bombs? Note: Sanjay Gupta reported that there is a typical and available antidote to this chemical gas. However, there is no antidote to generations of radioactivity!

VLA comment: Why should the USA take the lead unless we have a ulterior motive that concerns oil and the proposed pipeline through Syria. Will Israel put boots on the ground…after all it has a great military and all the US derived Nuclear weapons any country in the middle east could possibly have? If we strike, can we use Israel as a “base” since we are doing this to “protect” our ally, Israel and their ambitions to get into the oil business. Or does Israel not want to draw the attention to it’s territory as a target? It is bogus that we argue that we are so compassionate about the use of chemical weapons by the Syrian govt. Who is slapping our hand as we use depleted uranium bullets in in Iraq? USA can deploy nuclear weapons on it “enemies” and maim the unborn and all future generations, but the government of Syria should be invaded due to the same principle activity. Doug served as a member of the 3rd U.S. Army Medical Command’s Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical (NBC) teaching, medical response, and special operations team, the 3rd U.S. Army captured equipment project team, and with the 3rd U.S. Army Depleted Uranium Assessment team during Gulf War 1(Operation Desert Storm).
