Utah house takes first step against the surveillance state. Passes bill 71-2

HB0128 would make any electronic data obtained by law enforcement inadmissible in a criminal proceeding. This includes data gathered by the NSA and shared through the super secret Special Operations Division (SOD) or fusion centers. The legislation also stops Utah law enforcement from obtaining phone location data without a warrant.  Read more…

 ​VLA COMMENT: Utah is the home of the United States largest data collecting operation.  As I remember the huge facility was completed a few years ago.  It is gigantic.  It appears that the Utah House wants to disable the facility by turning off the water.​ But while waiting for a bill to that effect….

While awaiting action on a bill to turn off the water to the NSA data center in Bluffdale, the Utah House wasted no time passing another bill designed to thwart the effects of other actions of the growing surveillance state. The vote was 71-2.

Boston Hospital Takes Custody Of MULTIPLE Children Against Parents’ Will

The Boston Globe reported that in most cases where hospitals take custody of a child, parents reject the suggested medical treatment. This typically occurs when doctors diagnose the child with a psychiatric disease, but the parents think the condition is a physical one.

When Justina got the flu last February, she was taken to Boston Children’s Hospital. Doctors at Boston Children’s Hospital claimed that she has somatoform disorder, not mitochondrial disease. Somatoform disorder is a mental disorder — not a physical one, like mitochondrial disease.  Read more…

BREAKING NEWS: New rule – HIPAA: Adds the Right to access test reports directly from laboratories

  Heretofore, patients had to go through a doctor to access their own reports.  They were not allowed to get their own test results without paying a doctor as the go between.  Now this has changed.

This final rule amends the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) Privacy Rule to provide individuals (or their personal representatives) with the right to access test reports directly from laboratories subject to HIPAA. The ability to access their health information, empowers them to take a more active role in managing their health and health care. Read act…

Watch CNN Sanjay Gupta documentary “WEED” A most enlightening documentary on Weed for the public and officials to re evaluate their position. Many children who are taking harmful psyche medications because of seizures caused by the over the top children’s vaccine program could benefit from ingesting cannibas components such as in plants bred specifically for cannoboids as opposed to THC. Psyche drug medications are the cause of suicides and homicides. No one ever killed anyone on Marijuana which has been classified as a Schedule 1 drug without medical benefits. FARM BILL MAKES WAY FOR HEMP PRODUCTION: Hemp advocates rejoiced at President Barack Obama’s signature on the new farm bill Friday, which includes an amendment allowing states that have legalized hemp farming to begin growing this useful crop for research purposes.“This is the first time in American history that industrial hemp has been legally defined by our federal government as distinct from drug varieties of Cannabis,” said Eric Steenstra, the president of advocacy group Vote Hemp, in a press release.“The market opportunities for hemp are incredibly promising — ranging from textiles and health foods to home construction and even automobile manufacturing,” he said. “This is not just a boon to U.S. farmers, this is a boon to U.S. manufacturing industries as well.”  Read more:
