The vast majority of the corn and soybeans grown in the United States are now genetically engineered. Foods produced from GM crops have become ubiquitous. And unlike regulatory bodies in 64 other countries, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not require labeling of GM foods.

Two recent developments are dramatically changing the GMO landscape. First, there have been sharp increases in the amounts and numbers of chemical herbicides applied to GM crops, and still further increases — the largest in a generation — are scheduled to occur in the next few years. Second, the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified glyphosate, the herbicide most widely used on GM crops, as a “probable human carcinogen”1 and classified a second herbicide, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), as a “possible human carcinogen.”2

More Iowans are seeking vaccination exemptions

The number of Iowa parents seeking religious exemptions to vaccination requirements continues to climb, despite efforts to dispel worries the shots cause health problems.

A new state report shows 6,737 Iowa school children obtained religious exemptions to vaccinations this school year, up 13 percent from the year before and more than four times the number 15 years ago.

SIGNS OF THE NOOSE IS TIGHTENING IN IOWA

“It’s not the trend we want to be seeing,” said Don Callaghan, who oversees immunization programs for the Iowa Department of Public Health.

Callaghan predicted the state will face more pressure to tighten restrictions on vaccination exemptions if the numbers keep rising.

Iowa Vaccine Data base by school

DES MOINES EDITORIAL BOARD (same paper, same day)  Excerpt:  The number of irresponsible parents in the Des Moines area increased this school year. In Polk County, they sought and obtained religious exemptions allowing 821 students to escape mandatory school vaccinations.

DESMOINES EDITORIAL BOARD RECOMMENDATION: A proposal to eliminate the exemption would be met with opposition from a few individuals on the fringe, and lawmakers would run scared.  Change the administrative rules to actually reflect and enforce the language in state law about the exemption. Iowa Code clearly states exemptions are allowed only when immunization “conflicts with the tenets and practices of a recognized religious denomination of which the applicant is an adherent or a member.” (VLA COMMENT:  Sounds like the inquisition)

EXCERPTS FROM THE EDITORIAL

The state only requires them to sign a statement claiming immunization “conflicts with a genuine and sincere religious belief.” Iowa law requires parents to cite religious tenets in order to obtain a religious exemption, but state health administrators dropped that requirement in 2003, after a federal judge ruled in another state that government officials could not force citizens to provide such details. The number of religious exemptions in Iowa has more than quadrupled since then.

Iowa Code:

139A.8 IMMUNIZATION OF CHILDREN.

(2) The applicant, or if the applicant is a minor, the       applicant’s parent or legal guardian, submits an affidavit signed by       the applicant, or if the applicant is a minor, the applicant’s parent       or legal guardian, stating that the immunization conflicts with the       tenets and practices of a recognized religious denomination of which       the applicant is an adherent or member.

Yet administrative rules, which implement the law, fall short. They do not require parents to reveal which religion they adhere to or cite a specific religious tenet against vaccination. Neither does the form parents download from the Internet and sign. That should be a requirement.

ADMINISTRATIVE RULE EXCERPT

7.3(2) A religious exemption may be granted to an applicant if immunization conflicts with a genuine and sincere religious belief. To be valid, a certificate of immunization exemption for religious reasons shall contain, at a minimum, the applicant’s last name, first name, and date of birth and shall bear the signature of the applicant or, if the applicant is a minor, of the applicant’s parent or guardian and shall attest that immunization conflicts with a genuine and sincere religious belief and that the belief is in fact religious and not based merely on philosophical, scientific, moral, personal, or medical opposition to immunizations.

HARVARD MUMPS OUTBREAK (41) ALL WERE VACCINATED

VLA COMMENT: Vaccinating children with the mumps vaccine that doesn’t give long term immunity is dangerous because it is better to get the mumps BEFORE PUBERTY. Preventing the getting of mumps as a child, increases the risk of getting it at puberty which increases the risk of sterility.

VACCINES & AUTISM: The Best of the Best Autism/Vaccine Synopsis/History

cdc-cover-up-1024x569-696x386

This rise in autism is not due to better diagnoses like we are told, either. If that were the case, we would see scores of 50 and 60 year old people with autism in our population. How many people over 50 years old do you know with autism? Certainly not 1 in 50, or even 1 in 5,000, for that matter. The truth is, the spike in autism is a recent phenomenon and has become a real threat to our society. If left unaddressed, we can expect millions of people in our country to not only become non-productive members of our community, but to be unable to care for their own basic needs.

Belgium boy (1 year old) dies 2 days after 2 multiple dose vaccines

VLA comment:  We have translated this into English from the French:

BELGIË: Weinig jongen (een jaar) overleden na ontvangst van 7 vaccins (2 injecties)

ob_9f4025_famille-de-westrozebeek-roulers

The Parquet (Magistrates) of Ypres began an investigation into the suspicious death of the little Milow, (one year) , from Westrozebeke (West Flanders) . A month after his death , there is still no definitive explanation on the cause of death . Parents suspect that the boy died as a result of the vaccinations he received two days earlier . “Two injections of seven vaccines. Not all children who can endure such a cocktail , “says Dad. ***  Finlay, the mom*** had noticed that the boy did not move. “I wanted to bring him a fruit bread soup , but he was not moving in his little bed. I noticed he was all blue . “. The father immediately called the emergency services . The little boy could be revived for three quarters of an hour , but in Roeselare Hospital doctors have done anything other than confirming death .

An emergency physician spoke **** of a suspicious death. Police and prosecution have finally concerted, a search was conducted at the young parents’home. An autopsy was also performed. “Initially they spoke of a « sudden infant death,” said Lieve, the grandmother of the little boy. But the emergency doctor made me understand that the death of Milow should not be attributed to « sudden infant death syndrome », but to a severe influenza infection with febrile seizures. ”   Two days before his death the small Milow was consulting in “Child and Family”. It was during this visit that Milow received two injections. For a month, the parents and the grandmother are living with the presumption that the injections the boy has received are the cause of his death. “We ask a lot of questions about how vaccines are administered. In less than five minutes, our little boy received two injections that included a total of seven vaccines. Such cocktail is huge. All children can not withstand such treatment. The morning after the vaccine administration, Milow immediately began to run a fever. The next day, his health seemed to improve, but at noon he was dead.   The Ypres Parquet said they understand the views of parents. The vaccine track is also subject to investigation. But the Parquet’s spokesman Johan Lescrauwaet said that currently no track can be excluded.
