There maybe those who object to Dr. Laibow having entitled her video “I AM Adam Lanza’s Mother”. However, I am not one of those dissenting voices. She has taken a cosmic oversoul position. Perhaps she might have capitalized “I AM”. Dr. Laibow serves all of humanity as a potent voice and savior, throwing her powerful spear right between the eyes. She speaks for me, for the safety and health of the humanity. She is right on…she could have said “I AM Eileen Danemann’s voice”, “I AM the Mother of the Universe speaking! Listen to what she is saying. And if you can’t save the world…at least save your own child!
The recent CIDRAP report just asserted that the expansion of flu vaccine recommendations in recent decades has NOT been based on scientifically sound data. In spite of influenza vaccine’s enormous commercial success we still lack the data to know if they have done more good than harm. Prior receipt of seasonal flu shots significantly increased the risk of pH1N1 infections during the 2009-10 pandemic (Skowronski. PLoS Med 2010) and Bodewes and colleagues refer to the “double-edged sword” of yearly influenza vaccinations because they prevent the induction of heterosubtypic immunity to pandemic strains in animals and children.

We have finally put a crack in the Congressional ceiling. Last Thursday was a riveting hearing mainly incited by a few passionate Congressman It starts out with the chairman, Congressman Issa asking the CDC some questions. To be competitive and independent from fluctuating support from (local) policy on the long run, biofuels should equal or beat the cost level of fossil fuels. Here, algae based fuels hold great promise, directly related to the potential to produce more biomass per unit area in a year than any other form of biomass. The break-even point for algae-based biofuels is estimated to occur in about ten to fifteen years.[

Mercury (Hg) exposure is ubiquitous in modern society via vaccines, fish/crustacea, dental amalgam, food, water, and the atmosphere. This article examines Hg exposure in the context of primary exposure to pregnant women and secondary exposure experienced by their unborn babies. Babies in utero are particularly at risk of higher Hg exposure than adults (on a dose/weight basis through maternal Hg transfer via the placenta), and are more susceptible to adverse effects from mercury and its biologically active compounds. It is, therefore, critical that regulatory advisories around maximum safe Hg exposures account for pregnant women and secondary exposure that children in utero experience. This study focused on standardized embryonic and fetal Hg exposures via primary exposure to the pregnant mother of two common Hg sources (dietary fish and parenteral vaccines). Data demonstrated that Hg exposures, particularly during the first trimester of pregnancy, at well-established dose/weight ratios produced severe damage to humans including death. In light of research suggestive of a mercuric risk factor for childhood conditions such as tic disorders, cerebral palsy, and autism, it is essential that Hg advisories account for secondary prenatal human exposures.
